The pressurized un-weighting system provides a safe environment for agility training for the advanced athlete all the way to senior citizens. The un-weighted part comes from a person being un-weighted, over an above average treadmill. We fit you into a custom designed vest that is attached to an overhead suspension system. This allows us to take varying degrees of weight off a person’s total weight, not weightlessness but close. This then allows you to do agility and coordination type drills in a safe and controlled environment. Drills are side stepping, walking backwards and turning in circles. So you might ask, “What does that do for me except make me dizzy?” Well it does several things for you, it will train muscles that are seldom used but necessary in unstable circumstances. It will improve your coordination so you move though your daily environment with less effort, in short it will make you more functional.
The treadmill ranges in speed from .5 to 16 MPH, so whether you are just trying to regain some coordination and balance or out run your opponent, then this is the workout for you.
